LUDMILLA RADCHENKO

Ludmilla Radchenko was born in Omsk, Siberia on 11 november 1978, where in 1999 awards a degree in Fashion Design. In the same year she moves to Italy to work as a model, show-girl and actress. In 2009 she chooses to pursue her greatest passion: painting. Instinctive and vital, her loud voice art, dressed with real life drives her toward PopRealism. Since december 2010 her first catalogue “Power Pop” edited by Skira can be found in Feltrinelli libraries with a critic essay by Fortunato D’Amico. Ludmilla creates a painting for a champion of moto GP Jorge Lorenzo, for F1 world’s champion Sebastian Vettel, for the rock star Jamiroquai. Far from presenting the object again and again in an hyperbolic and obsessive way as seen in the “classic” pop tradition, Radchenko loads it with social content in open accusation to its exploitation. In deference to the pop spirit, Radchenko, doesn’t limit her interest to canvas but spreads her touch to fashion and design too.

The “Siberian soup” FullART by Ludmilla Radchenko was registered as a new brand. Ludmilla’s explosive art feeds itself with real life, icons, tragedies, common successes and hopes. Photos and scans give birth to digital creations, which combined with painting create compositions enriched of visual messages, collage of real life with touches of irony.

Ludmilla Radchenko’s reflections she has dedicated herself to transcribe upon the canvas her observations on the world start with the recognition that she herself is an active fragment of a communication network that stretches well beyond the fashion system. For a young woman of the contemporary West from a culture unlike our own, the difficulty is clear in reading a history of protagonists raised to the status of heroes and to transgressive myths belonging to an industrial and a post-industrial generation with POP elements. What will become of our contemporary legends? For a short time they will remain and their names, postures, clothes, slogans, music will be recognized, up to becoming echoes that will disappear in the depths of space time. Only art will remain before future humanity, and each time it will be rediscovered amidst deserts and under the stars.

AND ARTIST LUDMILLA RADCHENKO DURING ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH WEEK

MIAMI, FL (October 12, 2014) –Galleria Ca’ d’Oro will present “Ruco Line Intercity,” a fashion and art project created by artist Ludmilla Radchenko in collaboration with Ruco Line, an Italian contemporary shoes and accessories design company, during the week of Art Basel Miami Beach.

The distinctive signature of Ludmilla Radchenko, now an established celebrity Pop icon in Europe, will create artworks for a capsule collection. Her unique style, which utilizes bright color, blends photography, digital collage and lively acrylic painting. With her unmistakable style, Radchenko interprets a series of eight artworks for Ruco Line, giving birth to pop emblems to be worn on sneakers, maxi sweaters, leggings and scarves. The artist literally “spells” the brand through a series of flags, where each letter represents the initial of a country or a city that symbolizes an important step in Ruco Line’s history and international development. In 2014, Ruco Line had a similar artistic partnership with Gagosian Gallery when they collaborated on a limited edition mirrored shoe created by French architect Jean Nouvel.

A series of daily events and performances are planned at the Ca’ d’Oro gallery during Basel week. These will include a VIP reception with the Italian Consul General, fashion shows and a series of dance performances.

Miami – Galleria Ca’ d’Oro is honored to announce an exhibition showcasing the exceptional works by talented artists Ludmilla Radchenko and Vittorio Sacco. Curated by Gloria Porcella, director and owner of the famous Roman and Miami Galleries and entitled Rosa Rosae, it is designed to bring to Miami the artistic flavor of these unique European artists.

The exhibition, beginning Saturday, May 17 and running for three weeks, will be held at the newly opened space of Galleria Ca’ d’Oro, Suite 105F, 4141 NE Second Avenue in Miami’s Design District. The Galleria’s goal is to grow together with the most talented emerging European artists by bringing quality, design and innovation to South Florida. Very different from each other in terms of style, medium, personalities and artistic orientations, Ludmilla Radchenko and Vittorio Sacco are united in this show through the theme of roses; a subject matter portrayed by both artists in one of their main works, which gave name to the exhibition, Rosa Rosae.

Ludmilla Radchenko, a young female Siberian Pop artist has the ability to blend unique and sometimes startling photographs with aspects of digital collage and lively acrylic painting to create an entirely unique art form. In the classic Pop Art style, Radchenko presents her subjects over and over, loading it with social content in order to expand and at times exploit its meaning. The bright colors and broad lines that appear as she applies paint to the digital prints serve to create new levels of meaning and also add emotive elements to the overall effect. The results are paintings that reverberate with numerous meanings meant to connect with the viewer.

Vittorio Sacco always had a great passion for photography. The artist’s work truly embodies an Italian essence that expresses a passion for food, a keen eye for simple beauty, style and design. While in New York he joined Bianchi Films where he was able to combine the graphic beauty of his still photography with the elegance of motion pictures. Throughout his career the artist has worked for many important advertising campaigns such as Lindt, Barilla and Kraft among others. Vittorio Sacco is one of those artists who make food and simple objects into poetry. They evoke in the spectator a sense of tangibility and desire to reach what is portrayed. The artist has the ability to transform simple and common everyday objects into appealing, luxurious and sensual elements, which stimulate our senses. On the other hand, his black and white photos of places are somewhat supernatural, where he immortalizes empty spaces where presence is perceived among the ruins. Primitive and yet modern they seem to evoke a post-apocalyptic scene.

Miami, FL: Galleria Ca’d’Oro is pleased to present Marilyn Monroe | Tribute to a Female Icon, a group exhibition of 21 artists celebrating the life of the screen goddess in the date the marks the 50 year anniversary since her death.

An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Marilyn Monroe | Tribute to a Female will be on view through Wednesday, October 10th, at Galleria Ca’d’Oro, located at 135 San Lorenzo Avenue, Coral Gables, Florida.

Marilyn might be gone, but fifty years later she still continues to electrify the world. Marilyn Monroe | Tribute to a Female is intended not only for those who appreciate the arts, but also for the ultimate Marilyn fan. This vibrant celebration of the Hollywood star not only pays tribute to the icon, but explores the woman behind one of the world’s most quintessential sex symbol.

The exhibition showcases a life-size sculpture of Marilyn wearing the iconic white dress immortalized by Seward Johnson in her most famous pose; an unusually lanky rendition by Valentina De Martini, a naked Marilyn immersed in color by Pablo Echaurren, a pop interpretation by Ludmilla Radchenko alongside the Marilyn series produced by Andy Warhol, a decollage by Mimmo Rotella, a witty composition by Leonardo Hidalgo, a painting with a real black diamond on the famous Marilyn beauty mark by Enrico di Nicolantonio and a live performance by Erika Calesini. The tribute to the American starlet comes to life in a 28-work exhibition that includes paintings, photographs, video, installations, and sculptures.

Pepsi Italy has created a Pepsi Light limited edition can to commemorate the myth and the 50th anniversary of the death of the timeless star. Among all the artists that made Marilyn immortal, Pepsi chose Sid Maurer; who’s many talents range from painting to music- to create an art can which captures the charisma, femininity, and sex appeal of the world famous style icon. Marilyn Monroe | Tribute to a Female made its successful debut in June 8^th, 2012 at the nineteenth-century Palazzo Wedekind in Piazza Colonna, in Rome, Italy, only a few days after what would have been Marilyn’s 86^th birthday. For this symbolic reason curators Gloria Porcella and Lamberto Petrecca chose the months of June and August for the double launch of the exhibition.
